SCIENCEDIRECT FOR SOCIETIES

The premier electronic platform: ScienceDirect -  Your digital library.

ScienceDirect is the essential information resource for millions of researchers and scientists, holding more than a quarter of the world’s electronic collection of science, technical and medical full-text, peer-reviewed titles.

More than 2,000 journals and hundreds of books from Elsevier - including prestigious titles such as The Lancet, Cell, Tetrahedron Letters, the Handbooks in Economics Series and the International Encyclopedia of the Social and Behavioral Sciences - are available on ScienceDirect.

Users can access more than 7 million full-text articles and more than 75 million abstract records, from all fields of science. Most journal articles become available immediately after peer review and before the printed versions are issued. Additionally, they gain online access to multimedia features not available in print journals, such as video, audio and spreadsheet files.

  • Links from references to other articles on ScienceDirect or other publishers' platforms
  • View abstracts of non-subscribed journals on ScienceDirect
