| Tijuana youngster enjoys the upgraded La Roca Library |
What happens when you mix 40 enthusiastic southern California volunteers from Elsevier, LexisNexis, the University of San Diego and other locations plus friends and family, put them on a bus and take them to a Tijuana shelter for homeless moms and their kids?
When you add to that scenario a grant provided by RE Cares, you get a beautifully upgraded onsite library ready to meet the learning needs of kids and adults living at the La Roca shelter plus the youngsters attending the La Roca Primary School.
