Broadening Participation at ASSA 2009
Dr Ruan, from China Academy of Rural Development at Zhejiang University, was awarded Promising Young Economist from a Developing Nation at Allied Social Science Association on January 3-5, 2009 in San Francisco. The 2009 award was sponsored by Elsevier's China Economic Review.
Dr. Ruan received fully expensed travel to the ASSA annual meeting and was officially recognised at the Elsevier reception.
